[Event Announcement] Fuchong 15 Open Call for Exhibition Proposals 2027

1. Objectives

To provide a platform for outstanding creators, the Bureau is publicly calling for contemporary digital narrative exhibition proposals at Fuchong 15. The curatorial theme for this open call is "Brain Imaging: Worlding the Imagination" (or "Brain Imaging: Imagined Worlds in the Making"). We encourage creators to draw from diverse life experiences and cultural imaginations as starting points to innovate and experiment with visual and experiential forms.

2. Key Guidelines of the Application Plan

(1) Eligibility:

Individuals or art collectives holding Republic of Taiwan (ROC) nationality.

The applicant must be the curator or a participating artist.

Graduation or capstone exhibitions from academic institutions, government bodies, or school societies are not eligible.

(2) Application Period:

From October 1, 2026, 00:00 to December 31, 2026, 17:00 (TST).

(3) Eligible Media & Categories:

Digital animation and video, games and interactive media, interactive installations and participatory art, immersive and extended reality (XR) experiences, new media and tech art, graphic art, character and IP creations, cross-disciplinary experimental art, and other related creative categories.

(4) Venue:

Exhibition Spaces on floors 3F through 5F at Fuchong 15. As a general rule, each proposal should be designed for one floor. Applicants with special exhibition requirements may submit a multi-floor proposal with a detailed justification.

(5) Tentative Exhibition Period:

Tentatively scheduled between mid-September 2027 and mid-November 2027, with each exhibition lasting at least two months. The Bureau reserves the right to adjust exhibition dates and spaces.

(6) Production Subsidy:

A production subsidy capped at NT$200,000 will be provided for each selected project. Selected candidates are responsible for covering any remaining balance beyond this subsidy limit.
